Would vehicle wrapping damage my vehicle?
When applying the special vehicle wrapping film onto your vehicle it will not damage the manufacturers paint. Although in some cases if the vehicle has been resprayed or has lacquer peel, stone chips or abrasions it is crucial to know that when removing the vinyl film it may or may not remove the paint with in these areas. Despite that, when wrapping your vehicle, the vinyl film is actually protecting your vehicles paint work from stone chips, road debris and weathering to maintain your vehicles value
Who do I need to inform?
Firstly you will need to inform your insurance company that your vehicle has had a partial or full vehicle wrap with a change in colour, this will ensure if the inevitable was to happen, your insurance company are aware of the changes and so would be able to include costs for a replacement.
Secondly you will NOT need to inform DVLA as vehicle wrapping is seen as temporary and not a permanent colour change.
How do I wash my wrapped car?
Once your vehicle has had a partial or full wrap we would strongly recommend to use PH neutral cleaners and detergents along with a hand wash or to use a jet wash. When or if you use a mechanical car wash the strong abrasive brush will have a negative impact on your wrap
